Walking Zone
We are proudly launching our new Park & Stride scheme! Our eco council walked in different directions from school and put up walking bubble stickers on lampposts to indicate suitable places for parents to park and stride from – this means parking at least a 5-minute walk away from school.
Please do not park on double yellow lines, zig zag lines or on pavements as this is dangerous for pupils walking to school, who may not be able to fit through or be able to see both ways to cross the road safely. Parking on pavements prevents people with double buggies, wheelchairs or mobility scooters from using the pavement. Please turn off your engine whilst parked as every minute a car is idling produces enough toxic exhaust emissions to fill 150 ballons.
