VE Day is an annual celebration that commemorates the day German forces stepped down to the allies. You can find more information here.
To acknowledge this, on Thursday 8th May, children are having a street party-type picnic and so pick and mix will be the only option for dinner. There will be no dinner and no jacket potatoes.
If your child does not want a pick and mix, they will have to bring a packed lunch from home.
