Learning Superstars 08.11.24

Don't forget to bring your PE kit on Tuesday (indoor) and Thursday (outdoor). These are our new PE days until the end of this half-term. Please make sure earrings are removed prior to the PE days.

CLIC Y3SB – There were first ever 11s for Ronnie and Ava C and also 11s for Hamza, Evelina and Junior. Awesome work! 10s for Shatw, Harrison, Arayah and Joey.

Beat That Y3SB- 24 out of 24 for Evelina. Lots of good scores too, with Hamza and Shatw getting 23.

CLIC Y3KB – There was a first 11 for Dolly, well done! Rayaan also got 11 this week. 10s for Ezmae, Hakimah, Kairo and Ava. Well done everybody!

Beat That Y3KB- No 24 out of 24 this week. Jameel, Rakaan and Rayaan all scored 20 or over. Lots of high scores too. Well done to Tayyib, Hakimah, Kairo and Dolly

Y3SB- Learn TogetherGoes to Kyra and Ida for some amazing partner work in our guided reading sessions. They are able to listen to each other well and help each other to read accurately.

Y3KB- Enjoy Challenge- For Ava who since joining Year 3 has accepted any challenge given to her and works super hard and has produced some super work so far this year!

Star of the Week:

Y3SB – For the week before half term it was Grace. She showed some amazing efforts in our guided reading sessions and really improved her ability to decode words!

For this week, it goes to Amina for showing a positive attitude to all her learning in all of her lessons! She has also found a new favourite reading book!

Y3KB – For the week before half term it was Odain for being a superstar the whole half term! He tries hard in everything he does and is so kind and thoughtful towards his peers

For this week, it goes to Amani for trying super hard to pass her times tables. She kept persevering and going home to practise and has now earnt her rocket badge!

PE Star of the week goes to Ava C in Y3SB, who despite finding skipping really difficult, never gave up and was able to get closer and closer to being able to do it. Well done Ava and keep trying!

Weekly reads:

In Y3SB we have 11 children who have already hit 40 reads which is amazing. Harrison has now achieved 40 reads. Well done! We also had 23 children read at least once this week. In Y3KB, we have 5 who have hit 40 reads now. Leela and Matin both hit over 40 reads this week. Well done! We have also had 18 children read at least once this week. Keep up the super reading Y3! There are so many of you so close to achieving 40 reads and getting your robot badges!
