Published 17/09/24, by Joe BoyntonWe had a fabulous day at Murton Park. We learnt that as Celts, we had the opportunity to become Auxiliary soldiers in the Roman Army. We would be given a place to live and paid for our role in the army. In return, we would be expected to work hard defending the glory of the Roman Empire!
We learnt to fight using a gladio (short Roman sword) as well as learning how to write our names in Latin.
