The hottest week ever!

Even though the weather has been boiling, the children have remained focussed and worked super hard!

 

Geography:

This week, we began our Local Environment geography unit. We looked at the four-compass points and discussed how a compass has been used for over 2000 years for navigation and to help give and follow directions. We also went out into our grounds, and used an orienteering map to explore map symbols.

 

Y4GH:

Star of the Week is for Charlie. He is a brilliant member of our class and works really hard, also contributing to lessons and giving his work his all.

 

Orlando is receiving our ‘Be Positive’ postcard this week. He is such a positive person in the classroom, to his classmates and his learning.

 

PE Star of the Week: Our Y4 PE Star of the Week is for Koby. He demonstrated some excellent water safety techniques, and also completed some excellent swimming in the pool.

 

Y4MB

The Learning Principle (Careful Choices) postcard was awarded to Viren. He has shown a great attitude both in learning and socially. Well done!

 

Star of the Week is Ivy. She works so hard, well help others and doesn’t always talk!

Y4MB: Aklil top scored with 94 again! These children all scored improved on last week’s score: Oliver, Kamari, Romario, Naom, Charlie, Maisie, Viren, Fasiha, Darcie, Robyn, Thanos, Muadh, Hannah and Ivy all improved on last week’s score. Well done!
