What an amazingly busy week!
What festive week! We have fully stepped into Christmas now!
Step into Christmas
On Monday morning, all families were invited into school for some festive fun. Thank you to those who attended and were able to make it – I hope everyone enjoyed the crafts that came home! We made some trees and reindeer, as well as paper chains, bouncy snowmen and solved some Christmas themed maths problems.
Design and Technology
We are nearly at the finish line with our treat boxes. They have begun to create the aesthetics of the boxes, applying the mixed media techniques of water colours, oil pastels and colouring pencils. We cannot wait for you to see them.
Maths
We have been learning about multiplication and division for the previous four weeks. We have learnt about factors, multiples, focussing in on our 6, 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12 times tables and then formal methods for multiplication. This has seen a real increase in the number of children passing their individual times tables.
Y4GH
The recipient of the postcard this week is Ruquyyah. She is receiving the Make Careful Choices postcard for her amazing behaviour and focus in class.
Y4MB
Our postcard of the week is for Harry for Solving Problems. Harry finds maths tricky HOWEVER, he has realised that if you work hard at it, you can succeed and, this week, he has had great success with his square numbers and his 12s.

Y4MB: In Y4MB, Evelina and Hamza were the top scorers of the week with 44. The children who scored their top score of this half term so far were: Joey, Heidi, Zainab, Mikayl, Harrison, Tassie, Lucas, Grace, Maryam, Amina and Advik. Well done!
