We can't praise how well your children have now settled in to Year 4: thank you for your support.

What another amazing week!

Art

In our art component this week the children created their own guidelines for patterns. The patterns were so imaginative and most of us were able to stick to our guidelines. There is a wonderful array of art coming out of Year 4 at the moment! We are also finding that it is very calming for us all.

Computing

Monday was our final session in computing that explicitly taught key skills. The children have been learning to and consolidating their ability to open and save documents in specific folders, search for images on a search engine and copy and paste these into a word document. It has not been easy for some of us, and we will definitely revisit it again – but we have persevered!

Y4GH

Summer is our shining star this week with the postcard for Value Being Special. When you walk in our classroom, you may not immediately notice Summer but spend some time in there you’ll see her shine! She is so helpful to everyone, there is nothing lost that Summer can’t find. She is so so kind and works really hard. She truly is amazing.

Y4MB

Our postcard of the week is for Mikal who has made lots of Careful Choices. We have had a focus this week on ‘We are Kind and Helpful’. During the week, he has asked to help others with their learning and he has helped to tidy away other people’s ‘untidiness’.

Y4 PE Star of the Week:

Our PE star of the week is Aahill. Perfect following of all instructions and rules from the moment he left the classroom to go outside.
