OfSted week
Once again, your children have done themselves proud.
During the week where we had an Ofsted inspector in, your children did us as proud as ever and really demonstrated how amazing they are and how they contribute to our school!
Geography:
This week was the week of our visit. The children travelled by coach to Mayfield Valley to begin a walk. It allowed them to use surveys to compare the different localities. They recorded the building types they saw, as well as any transport links. They also enjoyed a lovely day out, picnic, play on the park and avoiding a huge, wet muddy puddle!
Assessments:
To add to the challenge, your children have completed their maths and reading tests this week. Most of them really gave it their all!

Star of the Week is for Ali and his amazing swimming!
This week, the Feel Proud postcard is going to Harrison for how well he has negotiated a difficult couple of weeks with his fractured ankle. He has found not being able to play normally outside really difficult, as well as long walks, but he has persevered and made it in every day!

The Learning Principle (Value Being Special) is to Darcie. We don’t think that Darcie knows how special she is. Every teacher she has had, has said the same things about her: works hard; supports others, get’s involved cares about herself and others and many other positive things. Thank you Darcie.
Star of the Week is for Ivy. Why Star of the Week? She just is. She gets on, works hard and helps others. Always.
PE Star of the Week: Our Y4 PE Star of the Week is Antoni. He worked hard, listened well and supported others.

Y4GH: Kenan, Harriosn, Reon, Bobby, Jessica, Mia, Ashton, Sonny, Narin, Finn and Esmae all scored the maximum on a tricky test! A big well done to you all. Charlie was close with 11. Well done!
Y4MB: Amina, Aklil, Darcie, Charlie and Robyn all scored the maximum on another tricky test! A big well done to you all. Maisie and Corey were close with 11. Holly scored her highest score for this half term. Well done!

Y4GH: 50 today for Kenan. Well done! Bobby, Finn, Ellasu, Ali, Levia and Olivia scored (or equalled) their best this half term. A big well done to you all.
Y4MB: Aklil top scored with an amazing 98! Kamari, Romario, Robyn, Naom and Antoni all scored (or equalled) their best this half term. A big well done to you all.
Spellings:
Y4GH: Layla, Finn, and Archie all scored the magnificent 10! Bilal, Narin, Louie, and Jessica were close with 9. A big well done.
Y4MB: Aklil, Bayan, Charlie, Darcie, Ivy, and Muadh all smashed the spelling test with 10/10. Amina, Corey, Kamari, and Robyn were close with 9. Well done.
