Today we celebrated the 80th anniversary of VE Day with a picnic party.

As part of our science topic (plants), we completed a small investigation to use celery as a replacement for the 'stem' of a plant. We placed the celery into a cup of water and added blue food colouring to investigate whether the plant would absorb the water and it's colour.
