This week in Y2

Parents Evening is on Tuesday 7th October and Wednesday 8th October.  The system is now open to book appointments.

Our Kelham Island visit is on Wednesday October 7th - please give permission and make payment via the school payment app.

Whiteley Woods residential - the deadline to book a place is Friday 2nd October 2026.

The following children have recorded at least 4 reads this week in their reading record :Elias, Elijah, Hiyab, Imaani, , Eric, Hunter, Jonah, Adam A, Aadam, Wren, Poppy, Quinn, Jax, Madison, Haroun, Areen, Raheem, River, Leen, Ahmed, Mollie and Finley. 

This week we have had improvements in Beat That scores from Jonah, Archie, Arthur, Ruby, Ovie, Eric, Aleyiah, Elijah, Yousuf, Mekhi, Areen, Quinn and Adam A. 

Yousuf Adam A, Iqra and Areen scored full marks on CLIC.

We completed our spelling test today and the following children scored full marks : Eric, Hunter, Yousuf, Adam A, Quinn, Leen, Yazan and Raheem. 

We have been learning about Kandinsky and how he used music to inspire his art work.  Here are some Kandinsky inspired art works from this week.
