This week in Y2

We have had a lovely frist week back after the holidays and have started some our new topics.  

We have recapped the countries and capitals of the United Kingdom from Y1and then we have begun to look at a map of the world and learn the continents and oceans.   Please ask your child and see how many they can remember. We have begun our computing lessons about algorithms and programmes and have looked at programming a Bebot.

In art we have begun looking at Expressionism and in PE the children have begun practicing athletics skills on the running track.

We have already had some Easter reads back which is great - any more can come in for the end of next week.
