Deciduous and evergreen trees

We have started a new science topic all about plants. 

Yesterday we learnt about the difference between deciduous and evergreen trees and we were really impressed with the children's enthusiasm for the new learning. 

We went on a leaf hunt and looked for clues as to whether the leaves were from a deciduous or evergreen tree?
