Yousuf is the latest superstar to get on the rocket!
We are having a big push on book bags in school.
Please help by sending your child to school with their book bag every day and writing in their reading records when they read at home. Four times a week is the school expectation as this is proven to make the biggest difference to reading progress.
Well done to Orange group because we had all but one book bag in today so almost everybody could get a new book!
The reads are being given to Mr Smith at the end of next week for the Autumn term reading mileage badges so there is still time to get up to 40 reads!
We have been working really hard in Year 1 learning all about 2D and 3D shapes and using these in patterns.
After the lesson today Y1JS really wanted to make pictures with 2D shapes and then lots of them wanted to show families! I'm sure you'll agree they did a fantastic job!
We gave postcards to Madison and Benjamin. Our PE star was Mollie. Kidus, Leen and Haroun passed their counting in 10s, 5s and 2s.
We have already got 6 children who are on the rocket which is fantastic!
Iqra, Adam, Leen, Eric, Archie and Arthur all worked hard to learn how to count forwards and backwards in 10s, 2s and 5s. We have lots of other children who are getting close too!
Please support your children in practicing this important skill!
