Y1 went to Sheffield City Centre to learn how we can use the library to borrow books and get better at reading. We loved exploring the 'Winter Gardens' to find sculptures and discuss what materials they were made from. We also found different methods of communication in the city and we posted a letter.
We had a great time on our visit to the city centre. We used public transport, visited the library and explored the winter gardens.
Well done Riley for earning PE star. You have shown great listening skills.

We have been working hard in our computing lessons to record pictures and sound. Today we used the IPads to take photographs of objects around our classroom. We also recorded sound. We worked together to do our learning in pairs. Well done Y1

In PE this week we have been working hard on our balancing and jumping skills. 
#WakeUpWednesday Squid Games is being talked about by many of our children in school, right from Foundation Stage. Here is some useful information.
We have been making shapes with our bodies in gymnastics and we have been linking these shapes together.
