School Streets is up and running on Boynton Road and it has been a huge success
We would love to see as many families as possible at this event to view the children's hard work and to enjoy this wonderful community event.
This week, the Y5 children took part in lantern making in preparation for the Parkwood Springs Community Lantern Festival, taking place from 4.30-7.00pm on Saturday 19th October.

Today, after Big Maths, we took the time to have a game of Nim 7. This strategy game challenges us in our pattern spotting!
Today, we used globes to find the capital cities of the world and matched them up to the alphabet.
We tested which materials would be soluble and dissolve in water to form a solution
We had a fabulous day at Murton Park. We learnt that as Celts, we had the opportunity to become Auxiliary soldiers in the Roman Army. We would be given a place to live and paid for our role in the army. In return, we would be expected to work hard defending the glory of the Roman Empire!
We learnt to fight using a gladio (short Roman sword) as well as learning how to write our names in Latin.
