  • Y6 Autumn Newsletter 2025

    We all hope that you have had a lovely, enjoyable summer break! As we are about to return to school for the new year, here are a few important messages and reminders. Y6 will have P.E. on the first day back so children will need an outdoor P.E. kit.

    Also coming up early in the Autumn term, Y6 will be redesigning a piece of cardboard food packaging. It is really helpful if children are able to bring in a piece of cardboard food packing from home that they would like to redesign in class.

    Also, in Autumn term we will host a WW2 day (on Thursday 25th September) and children are encouraged to dress up for the day. We will discuss this with the children in class and show some pictures from previous years. Below is a link to photos of last year to provide some inspiration and ideas.

  • Kevin Sinfield

    Year 6 children had the opportunity to support Kevin Sinfield on day 4 of his 7-day challenge. He started the day at Sheffield United and ended at Sheffield University, where research into Motor Neurone Disease is taking place. Even though it was raining, it was great to show support for a good cause. He took the time to have a photograph taken with us and made a little speech.
