A wet but wonderful week.
Here are our learning photos from some moments of the last two weeks: fraction challenges and creating circuits.
We are three weeks into the spring term, and we are already seeing some excellent contributions for home learning. These range from the creative and delicious to the scientific and geographic! Also, well done to all the children completing 4 reads a week - this will have such an impact on your reading progress!
We are delighted to be able to once again offer all of our Year 4 children the opportunity of a 3 day/2night visit to Thornbridge Outdoor Centre in The Peak District in March.
Y4 children will start their swimming lessons on Tuesday 10th February 2026. Lessons will take place at Hillsborough Leisure Centre every Tuesday until 7th July.
We complete a weekly CLIC test, where your child have a CLIC gap to complete each week. We also have recently completed a Y4 arithmetic test. Below is the link to videos that can help you.
What a fantastic week!
Our main photos of the week have to be from the amazing visit we went on yesterday. Throughout the day, we did glow-in-the-dark rumba, watched the rehearsals of the Ice Figure Skating Championships, ice skated ourselves and did athletics activities in the EIS. We had a fantastic day and all pushed ourselves out of our comfort zones!
A great start to the new year.
Zeus had a fab time over the holiday with Amina. He did lots of activities! He needed a rest when he got back to Mr B! He also discovered he loves cats!
