We did it! We made it to half term and we have just crammed so much in. Each and every child has done you proud. We ended the half term with our spectacular Watercliffe Meadow’s Got Talent final. Well done to every child that entered and everyone for being an amazingly supportive audience!
On Friday 7th March 2025 we are heading to Sheffield City Hall for the Halle Orchestra in concert.
That was an amazing week!
We are so unbelievably proud of our Y4s today! They culminated a term and a half's musical learning into a performance to the Y2s. Each and every one of them retained so many different tunes and put their all into the performing. This is the first time any children at Watercliffe Meadow have learnt the clarinet as a progression from the recorder. It is no easy feat, and they did marvellously!

You have the best children. we are so proud of them all!
The photos this week show the amazing wire modelling we did in art, to create our own sculptures inspired by the Learning Principles, and based on work by Thomas J Price. They also show some of the activities we did in our third Chimp Management session.
It’s been another full week of amazing learning. We are really sinking our teeth into learning about our chimps, what they do and we’re beginning to think about how to manage them better. Thank you to everyone who has made a parent’s evening appointment. We cannot wait to have time with you to talk about your wonderful children. If you haven’t made an appointment to see us already, then please do!
This week's photos show us creating different circuits to check whether they work; and planning the shape of our sculptures for art.
Year Four are just such a spectacular year group!
